Unnamed, randomly selected hybrids of Tillandsia aeranthos, T. bergeri and T. tenuifolia.
These plants have proven to be some of the most resilient air plants that have tolerated far more harsh conditions than most air plants. Tolerant of a broad range of temperatures and watering regimes. The genetics of these plants make them a great choice for anyone who is new to growing air plants. We’ve found these to be among the most suitable Tillandsia for UK outdoor cultivation (in the summer), with some customers successfully growing them outdoors all year round with rain protection!
These plants are the result of successive hybridisation (intentional and accidental) of Tillandsia aeranthos, T. bergeri and T. tenuifolia and as such are somewhat variable in growth habit and flowering. Many appear to carry T. bergeri’s tendency to freely offset as well as its cold hardiness.
Supplied at approximately 3-5″ tall (7.5-12.5cm)
