Tillandsia ‘Cotton Candy’ (stricta x recurvifolia)
Tillandsia ‘Cotton Candy’ is a hybrid cross of Tillandsia stricta and Tillandsia recurvifolia. This popular cross results in air plants that are an incredible combination of the best of both parents. It carries the rosette forming leafy growth of Tillandsia stricta softened by the silvery colour from Tillandsia recurvifolia.

I managed to acquire a Cotton Candy (??) from the Craftyplants stand at the 2019 Sandringham Flower Show. Even if I have the name wrong it is a delightful specimen in bud. I cannot wait to see it in full flower. Many thanks Craftyplants, a “special show offer” and £4 well spent !
