Hoya linearis – Rooted Cuttings
An interesting Hoya with unusual long thin leaves, great as a trailing houseplant. Very effective when grown in an indoor hanging basket or cascading from a pot on a shelf.
Hoya prefer indirect light, full sun will scorch the leaves. They require well draining potting medium, most houseplant enthusiasts have their own compost preference but as a general guideline we suggest a blend of 1 part fine bark, 1 part multipurpose compost and 1 part perlite. Water regularly through the summer months when the plant is actively growing, allowing the compost to dry a little between waterings. Like other epiphytes, Hoya benefit from a occasional misting too. They are not especially hungry plants where feeding is concerned, we tend to mist with a foliar feed every 2 – 4 weeks using our Tillandsia Feed – a specially formulated feed for epiphytic plants.
Hoya are native to Burma, India and China. Also called ‘Wax Flower’, Hoya produce scented white flowers.
Supplied as bare root, rooted cuttings ready to be potted on arrival.
