Tillandsia chiapensis

Native to Chiapas in Mexico, Tillandsia chiapensis is a beautiful and easy to grow species (albeit fairly slow growing). Has very heavily trichomed leaves that have a velvety grey-green colour. Produces violet flowers from a soft pink floral bract that can last for many months. Likes a bright position and light watering.
Supplied at 1.5 – 2.5″ diameter.
