A epiphytic species native to the forests of South America with populations from Mexico to Niaragua Ecuador and Peru, Tillandsia vicentina is rare in cultivation. Prefers higher humidity and bright, diffused light. We find it grows best when sat on pots of extremely free draining medium such as bark which helps maintain humidity levels. It can grow into a substantial plant where temperature and humidity are maintained. For us 12″ is flowering size.
