Tillandsia tricholepis
£12.50
Tillandsia tricholepis is an interesting miniature air plant that rarely grows larger than 8cm in length as a single plant.
Over time the plants ‘pup’ quite readily and can form interesting cascading clumps. Has a real trailing habit and it best mounted in an upside down position and allowed to tumble over itself. A member of the self pollinating Tillandsia subgenus, Diaphoranthema, it’s not unusual to find seedlings of Tillandsia tricholepis growing within other plants once it gets established.
