Tillandsia tenuifolia ‘Amethyst’
Requires good light to maintain the purple-red leaf colour. In poor light levels it will lose a lot of colouration, becoming greener. Under our UK nursery greenhouse conditions, the plants tend to be green in winter, reddening in Spring and throughout summer.

another Anoplophytum in my collection! looked absolutely lovely when it arrived. I imagined it to be a soft-leaf Tillandsia but when it arrived, I realise its leaves were quite rigid (as with most/many Anoplophytum subgen.?)
