Tillandsia Recurvifolia
Similar in size and growth habit to Tillandsia Leonamiana, Tillandsia Recurvifolia also has velvety silver leaves and the two species are often confused.
Previously known as Tillandsia Meridionalis, Tillandsia Recurvifolia produces a relatively large vivid pink floral bract and small white flowers. A prolific propagator that can easily produce ball clusters of 10-12″ containing dozens of individual plants. This species burns easily if watered with hard water (water with high mineral salt concentration) therefore if you live in a hard water area it’s best to water with bottled water.
