Tillandsia intermedia

An unusual air plant, Tillandsia intermedia is one of the few airplants that grows upside down in the wild.  Like other air plants, Tillandsia Intermedia produces offsets at the base of the plants, but also produces the baby air plants on the flower stem.  This coupled with its upside down growing produces plant colonies that cascade many generations in length.

Supplied as young plants at approximately 3-5″ tall
