Tillandsia flavoviolacea

Previously grown as Tillandsia ‘Sesca’, the plant was changed to species level in late 2020 with the new name Tillandsia flavoviolacea. The name referring to the bi-coloured flowers, violet and yellow flowers: flavo from the Latin flāvus (yellow / blond) and violacea (violet coloured).

An easy plant to grow that pups well, capable of producing fairly dense clumps.
