Tillandsia Crocata (caulescent form)
An unusual form of Tillandsia crocata that grows in a semi-caulescent manner along short stems of upto 8″ long. Compared to the standard form of Tillandsia crocata, this form is a much larger growing plant. Allowed to grow as a trailing plant it’s branches gradually recurve upwards towards the light creating a waterfall-like clump over time. An easy to grow species that grows well in reasonably bright light. Like all forms of crocata, this caulescent form produces sweetly scented flowers.

I wanted to get the standard form of Crocata but it wasn’t in stock at the time so I went for this one instead. In actual fact I’m really pleased that I got this instead because it’s really attractive with it’s grey leaves that curl at the ends like in the picture shown. The one I was sent had two branches to it and was a really nice size, over 6″ long and all of the leaves have that really attractive curl in them. Well pleased, thank you boys!
