Tillandsia Albertiana CLUMP
Nice clumps of one of the very few red flowering airplants, Tillandsia Albertiana. This distichous (leaves forming in mirror image like pairs) airplant is endemic to the steep cliff faces of the Salta Province of Argentina. Tillandsia Albertiana is a very easy to care for airplant and will tolerate periods of drought. Each plant produces one relatively large flower, which unlike most Tillandsia flowers can last for a week, established clumps can produce flowers in succession over a period upto three months at a time. Named after the Argentinian botanist Alberto Castellanos. Also available as smaller Tillandsia Albertiana plants.
This airplant is supplied as a medium clump as pictured.
