Native to southern Namibia and the dry western regions of South Africa where it grows in dry, rocky areas.
Common names in English include: Concertina plant, Rock Crassula, Rosary Plant and Kebab bush
Common names in Afrikaans include: Bergkraaltjies, Konsertinabossie, Inrygertjie, Sosatiebossie, Sosaties.
As with most Crassula, C. rupestris prefers full sun or partial shade and free draining compost. As a half hardy perennial, they can either be grown as a houseplant or treated as a garden plant for the summer months. Not frost hardy and should be brought indoors for the winter.
Supplied in a 5.5 cm pot.
