Tillandsia paleacea x tectorum

An interesting hybrid of Tillandsia paleacea and the caulescent form of Tillandsia tectorum that produces purple flowers from a very dark purple inflorescence. Tillandsia paleacea x tectorum is quite a quick growing air plant that can produce decent sized clumps in only a few years. Like it’s parents, this plant prefers a fairly well lit position, light watering and good air movement.
