A fairly vigorous grower, Tillandsia ‘Kimberly’ (Usneoides x Recurvata) is a hybrid cross of two prolific airplants; Tillandsia Usneoides (Spanish Moss) and Tillandsia Recurvata (Ball Moss). This airplant seems to offer the perfect balance between the characteristics of both its parents. Similar to Usneoides in the respect that it’s definitely a plant for hanging and draping, yet restricted in its trailing by the more confined growth habit of Recurvata.

A lovely plant with a very interesting texture and colour. The one I received was bigger than expected (which was a nice surprise), healthy, and had recently flowered. It adds some much needed variety of shape and texture to my collection.

As Ioana the previous reviewer says, an interesting plant, recently flowered/some in flower, arrived in good condition, well packed and a nice clumb measuring 180mm long. Mine was also bigger than expected, in fact the clumb was able to be divided into two, so two for the price of one! I really like it. Graham and Alex know their stuff and sell nice plants at very reasonable prices, a highly recommended nursery !

This is the second time I get this lovely hybrid from Craftyplants, which I think gives you the best of both, usneoides and recurvata. Its shape and colours are trully beautiful and I love the change in between almost totally silver-like to a vibrant lime-like colour you get every time it’s sprayed with rainwater. To make things even more interesting, I found it has thrived without any effort at home. For the second time I got a lovely, healthy clump that joined the one I already had.

Just like recurvata, it is quite forgiving and like usneoides, it loves to be sprayed / soaked once a week when the weather is warm or a lot less if it’s on the colder side. Like all airplants, especially its parents, it loves to enjoy some fresh air every day, and needs to be dry by the time the sun sets. As simple as that! Thank you guys for these beauties!

Really good quality plant – it arrived well packaged and in good condition. Like the other reviewers say it was a good size, and also came with a hanging wire.
It has a lovely silvery colour when dry.
