Tillandsia diaguitensis
£12.00
Tillandsia Diaguitensis is among the few scented airplants, its white flowers exude an almost gardenia like perfume. The caulescent structure of Tillandsia Diaguitensis is unlike the form of most other airplants, it’s stiff grey leaves are well spaced along the central stem whist ‘pup’s form sporadically along the length of the stem. A lithophyte in its native Brazil, it clings to rock faces. This airplant likes plenty of bright light.
Quite a rarity on the commercial market, as with all our airplants, these Tillandsia Diaguitensis are nursery grown and not harvested from the wild.

This is a lovely plant with quite stiff grey leaves taking on an almost purplish hue along parts of the stem. Really pleased with it, it looks great coming out of a large whelk shell on my bright kitchen windowsill and and because the leaves are so stiff it’s virtually self-supporting, looking like some kind of wierd sea creature. Highly recommended!
