Rhipsalis cereuscula

Rhipsalis are the most widespread species of epiphytic cactus. In the wild Rhipsalis naturally grow attached to trees where they can root into moss for stability.

When growing Rhipsalis as a pot plant, they need humidity rather than lots of watering.  Rhipsalis grow best when planted in free draining compost to avoid them sitting in water. To encourage healthy growth, they can be misted and fed as a supplement to watering the pot. They prefer diffused natural light. A very tolerant plant, Rhipsalis will survive small periods of neglect, making them a great plant for the not so green fingered!

Supplied in a 5.5cm pot.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel it’s only fair to let others know about my last purchase. In short, CraftyPlants has taken the meaning of ”attention to detail” to a whole new level. I bought this lovely little plant together with other Rhipsalis and Tillandsias. All plants were so carefully packed (with tissue paper, bubble wrap, etc) in a sturdy box, properly labeled on each and every side, that they were in perfect condition when unboxed. To be fair, it’s always been a real pleasure to receive a parcel from CraftyPlants, such an enjoyable experience… But this time it literally reminded me Christmas as a kid, when we used to unbox the glass bubbles that had been wrapped and stored the previous year and that mixture of awe and surprise I felt each time I managed to unwrap (and rediscover) those shiny decorations.
Simply perfect. 5-stars, thanks so much guys for the level of commitment you consistently show to each and every one of us, customers!
